As a former Featherweight champion, McGregor still monitors the division and doesn’t think highly of the current title holder.
As reported by Championship Rounds on X (formerly Twitter), McGregor described Topuria as a non-champion.

Sean O’Malley
The UFC’s Bantamweight was also the victim of a verbal assault by the Irishman, but he has since apologised for it.
While discussing Garcia’s recent positive test, McGregor picked on Suga Sean, who tested positive for the same substance in 2019.
The Notorious has since explained that O’Malley was caught in the crosshairs of his tirade against the boxer.
He also added that the Bantamweight champion was a good friend who was always nice to him.
Kamaru Usman
McGregor will return to the UFC in a Welterweight bout and hinted that he could challenge for the belt if he beats Chandler.
According to former champion Usman, McGregor had previously been offered a chance to compete in the division but turned it down.
