Israel Adesanya's manager, Eugene Bareman, has disclosed that the Nigerian-born fighter could take on Dricus Du Plessis in April.
The Last Stylebender could finally face off with the South African sensation during the forthcoming UFC 300.
While appearing on Mac Life, Bareman stated that Adesanya is ready for the fight, adding that the 34-year-old has returned from injury.
It was gathered that Adesanya is already in training as he believes the battle against Du Plessis could be on the cards at UFC 300, Punch reports.

He is said to be preparing for the showdown, hoping to not disappoint his fans in one of the biggest events.
Recall that the former two-time middleweight champion tore his MCL about two weeks before his win over Alex Pereira at UFC 287 in April 2023.
He then returned to the Octagon at UFC 293 in September, where he lost the middleweight title to Sean Strickland in a unanimous decision loss.
However, there are concerns over Adesanya's knee injury, and it t is unclear if Adesanya has been working on it or something else since then, but Bareman’s comments suggest he is open to being a significant part of the UFC 300 card.
