MMA fighters have developed a reputation for being fearsome, but they know how to have fun as well.
Jon Jones, Leon Edwards and Alexander Volkanovski recently proved that when they were seen dancing and enjoying a night out after the ESPY Awards.
The Heavyweight champion Jones and Welterweight champ Edwards were nominated alongside Amanda Nunes and Islam Makhachev in the Fighter of the Year category, but it was Bones who took home the title, LowKick MMA reported.
He was also nominated in the Best Comeback Athlete category, while Edwards was nominated in the Best Championship Performance category.
While Featherweight champion Volkanovski wasn’t up for an award, he did rub shoulders with his fellow champions and met Jones for the first time.
As noted by Sports Manor, the two met for the first time at the ESPYs and even talked about being joint number one in the Men’s pound-for-pound rankings.
Jones then also teased Volk about his dancing, imitating him before sharing a laugh about it. Edwards also joined the group, calling Jones the GOAT.
Even though they're contracted to the same organisation, not all fighters often meet or see eye to eye. Jones recently bumped into Israel Adesanya, a fighter he shares a rivalry with.
Despite their animosity, the duo put aside their differences and shared a funny moment together. They even had an impromptu sparring session for a laugh.
