Amanda Nunes has ended her legendary MMA career in fine fashion.

Nunes on why she retired
Explaining her decision, she said she wanted to spend more time with her family.
"My mum has been asking me so much to do this for so long. She can't take it anymore. I want to enjoy everything that I have made. I want to travel a bit with my family."
Nunes was the Women's Bantamweight and Featherweight champion and the organisation's only current dual champion. Nunes only lost the Bantamweight title once, to Julianna Pena. She won it back at the first chance she got.

Nunes was scheduled to face Pena in a trilogy fight, but the challenger was forced to relinquish her shot after she picked up an injury. Aldana then stepped in as her replacement.

As noted by Eurosport, Nunes' career saw her pick up 23 wins and just five losses. As the last Brazilian to hold a title in the UFC, she also challenged her compatriots to pick up the slack and win some belts now that she is retiring.
