It was a wild scene when Mixed Martial Artist Mike Dragich turned into a hero for the students of outside an elementary school in Florida.
The amateur MMA fighter came to assist Florida officials who were trying to contain a 10-foot alligator that was outside the institution.
According to Marca, the wild incident happened outside a Jacksonville elementary school and was even captured on camera.
It was later uploaded to Instagram by Dragich, who can be seen fighting against the gator as concerned locals look on.
Mike chose to wrestle the alligator while wearing a thin muscle shirt and a baseball cap, even though most people would want some protection when doing so.
The video has gained a lot of attention, garnering over 860,000 views on social media and the attention of a local news organization, Fox 35 Orlando.
Dragich, the alligator trapper
Crazy as it might sound, this wasn't the first time the MMA fighter wrestled with an alligator... Nor the second!
Mike Dragich describes himself as an "alligator trapper" on his social media profiles, which are crammed with images and videos of him handling, posing with, or just having fun with reptiles.
He displays getting up close to an enormous alligator in this video below.
