The South African MMA fighter is still buzzing after his victory over Derek Brunson and has zeroed in on what's next for him.
As noted by MMA Junkie, du Plessis is focused on either fighting for the title or fighting for the number one contender's spot.
Stillknocks has been linked with a fight against Paulo Costa in the past but believes he's past that now.

“Paulo Costa had his chance. He’s behind me right now, so I’m not even focusing on him," du Plessis said.
Du Plessis also touched on what the UFC possibly wanted to do next.
“I think they’re waiting to see what happens with Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira. If Izzy wins, I’m the only guy in the top five he hasn’t fought. So that makes sense. If Pereira wins then I am not sure what they will do,” du Plessis added.
Whether it is a number one contender fight or a title shot, Stillknocks explained he would be satisfied either way.
While some have criticised his style as being reckless, du Plessi is extremely happy with his performances thus far and is thrilled to have beaten the number five ranked Middleweight in Brunson.
