Novak Djokovic is reportedly considering the possibility of Andy Murray's mother becoming his new tennis coach following his separation from Goran Ivanisevic.

Djokovic, a 24-time Grand Slam champion, ended his six-year partnership with Ivanisevic last week, during which they secured 12 major titles together.

Despite Djokovic's dominant performance in the 2023 season, clinching victories at the Australian Open, Roland-Garros, and the US Open, along with a runner-up finish at Wimbledon, the Serbian player has encountered challenges this year.

His quest for the Australian Open title was thwarted by Jannik Sinner, and he suffered an unexpected early exit at Indian Wells.

In January at Melbourne Park, Djokovic experienced a fallout with his own team. Additionally, last year, Ivanisevic confessed that managing the world No.1 was challenging.

Now in search of a new coach, Djokovic is considering options such as Amelie Mauresmo and Conchita Martinez, as reported by Serbian outlet Kurir.

They also suggest that Judy Murray is "certainly one of the options," though it's uncertain whether she would be open to collaborating with her son's former rival.

There is widespread speculation surrounding the potential retirement of two-time Wimbledon champion and double Olympic Gold medallist Murray due to his ankle injury.

Murray had previously acknowledged the likelihood of not extending his tennis career much beyond this summer, with Wimbledon or the Paris Olympics possibly marking his final appearances.

However, a severe ankle injury sustained at the Miami Open has cast uncertainty over his retirement plans.
