Rassie Erasmus sparked controversy when a 62-minute long video of him criticising referees was leaked during the 2021 British & Irish Lions series.
World Rugby charged Erasmus with bringing the game into disrepute when Rassie highlighted alleged errors made by Australian referee Nic Berry.
Rapport reported that Rassie and SA Rugby will have to appear before a disciplinary committee it has come to light that World Rugby believe that Erasmus was correct with 23 out of the 26 errors he cited in his video.
SA Rugby Mag revealed that former referee Nigel Owens said that during his career it was quite common for coaches to provide video feedback to referees.
The worst outcome experts predict for Erasmus and SA Rugby is that they will receive a fine and possibly be held liable for the costs of the disciplinary case.

Earlier, Briefly News reported that Rachel Kolisi shared her thoughts on her husband's book, Rise, which is Siya Kolisi's life story told in his own words. Rachel said it was an emotional experience for her and she had moments of laughter, tears and introspection.
Although Rachel is married to the Springbok Captain, she says there are so many stories she didn't know about.
She added that Siya has been so vulnerable as he tells his story and hopes it impacts those who read it to live better and dream bigger.
Rachel goes on to say:
"A true South African story that I really believe should be in everyone’s hands. Unpacking toxic masculinity, GBV, how to manage pressure, and the importance of living with intention, to name just a few. Most importantly how to RISE even when everyone expects you to fall."

In other news, Briefly News reported that Springboks skipper, Siya Kolisi’s wife, Rachel, has penned an emotional piece about her hubby. Rachel headed online to open up about her South African rugby star, saying it was heartbreaking to see the man of the house getting injured on the field of play.
Kolisi was in action for the reigning World Cup champions as they faced New Zealand last weekend but the stunning wife says it was not easy to watch the Cell C Sharks campaigner lying on the field and grimacing in pain.
In a lengthy post on Instagram, Kolisi’s wife cannot wait to see the father of her kids coming back home. She wrote:
“I don’t ever wish moments like this on anyone. When you see them go down like that, It’s so hard to put into words what it feels like, but scary and helpless are probably a good place to start. Especially when your kids are very aware of what’s going on too."
