What an action-packed three weeks it has been for South African rugby captain Siya Kolisi.

The Springbok star has been constantly on the go since the Rugby World Cup final three weeks ago.

South Africa beat New Zealand in the final of the World Cup in France, winning the title for a fourth time, The Guardian noted.

Kolisi returns to France for rugby

Since winning the Webb Ellis Cup on French soil, Kolisi has been busy, but has returned to the country ahead of the next phase of his career.

Kolisi was signed by Racing 92 and was in attendance as they beat Parisian rivals Stade Francais in the French Top 14, SARugbyMag reported. He is expected to make his debut in the team’s next game.

He wasn’t the only big-name sports star in attendance, as Chelsea’s Reece James was spotted alongside him. Both men are represented by Jay-Z’s Roc Nation.

With international football taking centre stage, James had time off from club duty to watch the rugby.

Kolisi’s busy schedule after the World Cup

After lifting the Webb Ellis Cup, Kolisi returned home to South Africa for the trophy parade before jetting off to the United States of America.

While his stay in the USA was brief, he did take in a Brooklyn Nets NBA clash with his family.

It wasn’t the first time he attended a Nets game either, as he also did so in 2019.

It was a case of a rugby World Cup winner being gifted with the shirt of a football World Cup winner.

Siya Kolisi and his family visited Inter Miami recently and were gifted a Lionel Messi shirt, Sports Brief reported.

Cristiano Ronaldo fans were not pleased with the sight and voiced their opinion on who the GOAT was on social media.
