Security operatives had to pull a female fan away after she jumped on Springboks captain, Siya Kolisi during the Rugby World Cup trophy tour.
South Africa defeated New Zealand 12-11 in a pulsating final at the Stade de France in Paris to retain their title.
The champions then embarked on a tour to Loftus Versfeld, Johannesburg, Soweto, and Cape Town, with the final leg in East London on Sunday.
Many gathered to welcome the team parade, with numerous fans attempting to touch some of their heroes.
However, cameras captured the moment one desperate lady emerged from the crowd and attempted to jump on the Springboks captain, Kolisi.
She attempted to give the 32-year-old a peck, but was quickly intercepted and pulled away by members of the security team on the ground.
Kolisi initially looked furious, with the rugby superstar quickly leaving the scene to continue with the celebrations, SuperSport reports.

The footage has attracted mixed reactions on social media. @MithaSomana shared the clip on X and fans have shared their opinions.
One user commented on the incident:
"I am so embarrassed and disgusted cause why does she act like that."
Another feels enough is enough:
"Yeah, wrap it up hey. Tours should only happen in Pretoria and Joburg going forward. Things went downhill right after those two cities. It’s enough now."
