The murder of Ntokozo Xaba has left the Tshwane University of Technology devastated.
Last week, the 21-year-old student was found dead outside a residence close to the camp having been stabbed. Blue Bulls player Ngcebo Thusi was arrested in connection with her death and has appeared in court facing a charge of murder.
The Sunday World reported that Xaba would be mourned and remembered this week as the institution of learning comes to terms with the tragic circumstances of her death. This includes a memorial service at TUT's Soshanguve South Campus' Student Centre, as well as flying TUT's flag at half-mast at all of its campuses.

In related news, SowetanLIVE reported that the Commission for Gender Equality was to meet with TUT as it looks for a solution to gender-based violence.
Bulls player in court for Xaba murder
The identity of the Blue Bulls rugby player, who was allegedly arrested for the murder of Tshwane University of Technology student Ntokozo Xaba, has been revealed.
Ngcebo Thusi reportedly appeared in the Pretoria Regional Court on Monday in connection with the 21-year-old's death. The case has been postponed to 13 February, with the state tasked with profiling him ahead of the bail hearing.

FootballAccording to TimesLIVE, quoting a police spokesperson, Xaba and her ex-boyfriend, Thusi were last spotted drinking together with friends before the incident occurred.
Bulls acknowledge allegations against player
The Blue Bulls Rugby Union has spoken up over allegations of murder levelled against one of its players.
Reports emerged on Friday that one of its unnamed employees, who represented its Country District side, had killed his girlfriend.
The union condemned any form of gender-based violence and stated that it would monitor proceedings before deciding on any action about the matter.
