There were highs and lows when it came to the performances of the South African teams in the United Rugby Championship this past weekend.
The Vodacom Bulls, Emirates Lions and DHL Stormers all secured victory, while the Cell C Sharks suffered a humiliating defeat.
The Bulls were in exceptionally fine form, as they ran out 43-26 winners over Osprey. The Pretoria-based side scored seven tries at home to pick up their third victory in a row in the tournament.
David Kriel (2), Nizaam Carr, WJ Steenkamp, Elrigh Louw, Ruan Nortje and Zak Burger all crossed the try-line for the SA side, as they secured an easy victory over the Welsh team, SA Rugby Magazine reported.

When it came to the other South African sides, the Lions beat the Dragons 33-25 while the Stormers beat the Scarlets 36-19. The Sharks though, had a weekend to forget.
The KZN side were beaten 35-0 in Durban, Sport24 reported. Cardiff made history in the process, becoming the first Welsh team to win a URC clash in South Africa.
The Sharks looked lost for large periods of the game, despite playing in front of their home fans, and never looked likely to mount any real challenge. The loss leaves them in 10th place on the log, the worst-placed of the South African sides.
