- During the Rugby Championship match between the Wallabies and Springboks, White got his counterpart Faf de Klerk sin-binned through pathetic play-acting
- This was met with derision and condemnation, with a group of South Africans living in Australia trolling White at an airport
The only thing worse than the Springboks' loss and its manner against the Wallabies last Saturday were the antics of scrumhalf Nic White.
White fell about like a lion had attempted to rip off his face after Faf de Klerk accidentally made contact with it while attempting to dislodge the ball out of his hands as he attempted a pass. After consulting with the television match official, referee Paul Williams adjudicated that this warranted a yellow card for de Klerk.
This decision has sent the world of rugby into meltdown, with criticism coming from all quarters aimed at White for bringing the game into disrepute.

One said:
"Hey Nic, you are alive! That was a horrific injury. We didn't know you were gonna make it. We thought you were in the ICU, my bro."
The player appeared to take the banter humorously while his teammates also laughed along.
Australia’s Nic White ridiculed for ‘acting skills’ in Rugby Championship match against South Africa
Nicolas White has a career in football or acting if it doesn’t work out for him on the rugby field. As reported by Sports Brief, that’s how many fans feel after White’s performance for Australia against South Africa in the Rugby Championship.
The scrumhalf came under fire for his acting skills in the first half, which saw South Africa’s Faf de Klerk sent off. De Klerk attempted to swipe the ball out of White’s hands, but lightly made contact with his face instead. Despite the slightest contact being made, White waited a few seconds before falling to his knees.
