The quarterfinals of the Vodacom United Rugby Championship will thrill South African rugby fans this weekend.
The DHL Stormers, Vodacom Bulls and Cell C Sharks are all looking to emerge victorious in their inaugural foray into the competition. If not each other, standing in their way are Ireland's Leinster, Ulster and Munster, while Scotland's Edinburgh and Glasgow Warriors rounding off the last eight teams remaining.
As reported on SuperSport, the Stormers, not even expected to place in the play-off positions, finished second on the log table behind favourites Munster, while the Bulls and Sharks finished fourth and fifth, respectively. Thus, the men from Cape Town will take on the Warriors, who finished 7th at the Green Point Stadium, while the Bulls and Sharks will tussle it out at Loftus Versfeld, as per Sport24.

This weekend brings the final round of league action in the United Rugby Championship with lots still to be played for.
As reported on Sports Brief, from which the final eight teams will form the quarterfinal line-up to whom will host whom, it promises to be a cracking round of action.
A place in the top two is significant as it enables the occupants to play both their quarter-final and semi-final matches at home, should they make it that far.
