The NBA GOAT debate has dominated the headlines, sports talk shows, conversations online, barbershops, and pubs for years - and there is no end in sight.
Another GOAT debate that has been reignited is the point guard one: Stephen Curry recently said he is the best point guard of all time, then Magic Johnson fired back, and Curry has responded again to Johnson's comments.
Even Michael Jordan is taking part in the debate.
The Golden State Warriors superstar recently caused a stir when he claimed he is the best NBA point guard of all time. Some agreed, while others were reluctant to give Curry that title.

NBAMagic Johnson, the Los Angeles Lakers icon, has long been seen as the best point guard of all time.
Both players have solid cases. For Johnson, his playmaking skills were superb. He averaged 11.2 assists per game, which is still an NBA record. Curry is far less prolific on that front.
The Warriors taisman holds almost every three-point record in NBA history and now one comes close. Here's how their accolades match up.
Per Game | Magic Johnson | Stephen Curry |
Points | 19.5 | 24.6 |
Assists | 11.2 | 6.5 |
Rebounds | 7.2 | 4.7 |
Steals | 1.9 | 1.6 |
Johnson's Dream Team teammate, Michael Jordan also responded to Curry's claims. ESPN's Stephen A. Smith said he received a text from Jordan himself, per Sporting News:
"Magic Johnson is easily the greatest point guard of all time. Steph Curry is very close but not in front of Magic. You must define point guard to really have a serious debate. Steph Curry is by far the best shooter of all time," said Smith, reading the text message from Jordan.

NBAA few days ago, Curry responded to Johnson's comments and he clearly didn't take offence.
"It's also the unsolvable debate. That is why everyone asks those questions. That's why everybody loves to talk about them. I can say I'm the best, Magic can defend his position, and any other point guard can chime in," he commented via CBS Sports.
The Golden State Warriors veteran added that he has a ton of respect for Johnson.
The debate will continue, especially considering Curry is still playing in the NBA.
Sports Brief earlier reported on Johnson responding to Curry, who claimed he is the best point guard ever.
Johnson, who was at his peak in the 1980s, made his own case and listed his achievements in the sport.
His resume includes five NBA titles, three league MVPs, and three finals MVP crowns, per CBS Sports.
