Golden State Warriors superstar, Stephen Curry, has declared himself the greatest point guard of all time. He was speaking on Gilbert Arenas' podcast when he made the claim.
The debate about the greatest point guard in NBA history is always between Curry and Los Angeles Lakers icon, Magic Johnson.
The four-time NBA champion was asked a straightforward and simple question by ex-NBA star and former Warriors guard, Gilbert Arenas and he gave an interesting answer.
"Are you the best point guard ever?" Arenas asked.
"Yes," Curry replied after a quick pause to think. "It's [between] me and Magic [Johnson], that's the conversation?"

NBAThat was a confident answer from Curry, and one can make a strong case for him.
While many fans have compared him to Magic Johnson for years, the debate reached its peak when the Warriors star won his first Finals MVP award.
Many feel Curry has achieved enough in the game to be regarded as the best. He has won multiple NBA titles and altered the landscape with his incredible shooting skills. His 2022 NBA championship triumph saw him cement his status as one of the best players ever.

Johnson retired as a 12-time All-Star, five-time NBA champion, and three-time MVP. Moreover, he averaged 19.5 points and 11.2 assists, and 7.2 rebounds per game, per Statmuse.
