The 46-year-old, who separated from former Barcelona star Gerard Pique recently, has been friends with Butler for some time, and they two decided to take things to the next level.

A bonus to the new relationship is the fact that Shakira’s children Milan, 9, and Sasha, 7, whom she had with Pique, are big fans of the NBA star, 33.

According to sources cited on etonline, Shakira and Butler have been keeping a low profile and are not keen on making their relationship public.
