Aside from losing to the NFL stars, Thompson had a bad day during The Match. During the 9th hole, the 33-year-old set things off with what looked like a perfect hit. However, it was a wayward shot that ended up hitting a spectator on the head while he fell down in pain.

After the shot, Curry couldn't stop laughing. Green couldn't stop making fun of his Golden State Warriors teammate.

Plenty of memorable moments happened on the course. Green, Curry, and Thompson created some viral moments. For instance, Thompson poked fun at Green for losing a three-point contest to Kevin Hart.

The two teams contested in a 12-hole scramble format. Every player teed off, but each team went with their best ball in the following shot. The result was decided by the number of holes won instead of stroke play, per Bleacher Report.

What is the match?

The Match is a 12-hole charity golf tournament that has featured some of the biggest names in professional sports, like Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Peyton Manning, and Tom Brady

It started in 2018 with a Tiger vs. Phil showdown as an unofficial money event on the PGA Tour.

Curry and Thompson react to CP3 trade

Sports Brief earlier reported on Curry and his Warriors teammate Thompson reacting to the news that long-time rival Chris Paul will join them in San Francisco next season.

"Every team that CP has been on gets better." Curry said. "That’s the most consistent thing about him, and who he is and what he brings to the team."

The Warriors shook the NBA world by announcing they were trading Jordan Poole for 38-year-old Chris Paul.
