Butler looked like he has recovered from the heartbreaking defeat at the 2023 NBA Finals against the Denver Nuggets. The Heat star had an incredible postseason, carrying his team from the play-in to the finals, per Washington Post. Neymar was present during Game 3 of the NBA Finals. Before the game, the two were spotted catching up.

The pair have been friends since 2016, per New York Times, and it seems their friendship has grown stronger over the years. Butler was spotted at the Parc des Princes in the summer of 2021.

Neymar was recently asked to name his five greatest players in NBA history. He named five players but added Butler to the list. His top-5 five were Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’Neal, LeBron James, and Stephen Curry.

Neymar wins $100

Butler posted the video on his Instagram story showing Neymar getting a spare in a game of bowling, and then Butler's friends giving the Brazilian star a $100 bill.

It is evident that the PSG winger won the game against Butler, although the NBA star did not reveal the results of the game.

Butler on NBA Finals loss

Sports Brief earlier reported on Butler reflecting on the Heat's painful defeat in the NBA Finals. The Heat lost in five games to the Denver Nuggets.

Nevertheless, it was a successful postseason for the Heat, who had to go through the play-in tournament to get to the playoffs.

Butler and the Heat stunned the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round and the Boston Celtics in the East finals.
