Stephen Curry will go down as one of the greatest players of all time. The Golden State Warriors star struggled to stay on the court due to persistent injuries.

Since overcoming his injury struggles, he took the NBA by storm, completely altering how the game is played with his extraordinary shooting ability. Rapper Killer Mike recently revealed the late Kobe Bryant predicted the Warriors superstar would dominate the sport.

Curry has been nothing short of spectacular for the better part of the last decade. He has won it all. Four NBA championships, multiple All-Star and All-NBA selections, and several individual accolades.

The late Bryant played against Curry as he started to reach his peak. Once he got healthy, he led the Warriors to the 2015 title before winning 73 games the following season.

He proved he could still do it in his 30s when he led his team to the title in the 2021/22 season, per CBS Sports.

Kobe Bryant knew Curry would dominate

During an appearance on The Shop UNINTERRUPTED, Killer Mike revealed that Kobe told him to keep an eye on Curry long before the two-time MVP dominated the NBA.

“It's this kid if he can stay healthy because he's skinny… I'm watching him. But I think he's who you should follow. He's this kid named Steph Curry...And that’s when I started watching Steph and Golden State, and he is not disappointing. I was like, ‘Oh, my God,’” via Clutchpoints.

Curry's legacy is cemented if he retires today. He remains one of the most popular sports players in the world, and Bryant would be proud of him.

James on Curry

Sports Brief earlier reported on LeBron James showering Curry with praise before their showdown in Round 2 tipped off.

The two veterans have battled each other for many years, especially in the playoffs, and are probably still the faces of the league.

James said he has a lot of respect for Curry because he works hard and has achieved a lot on and off the court.
