Conor McGregor is not the most popular person in Miami at the moment.

The UFC star attended Game 4 of the NBA finals, where the Denver Nuggets beat the Miami Heat 108-95. The Nuggets now lead the finals 3-1 and are one win away from being crowned champions.

McGregor, who is scheduled to return to the UFC later this year, made headlines during the game when he stepped onto the court during a timeout in the third quarter of the game.

The Irish took to the centre of the court to announce that his body spray company, TIDL Sport, is now the official sponsor of the Heat, Clutch Points reported.

Burnie confronts Conor McGregor

McGregor was then met with an unexpected foe as the Heat’s mascot Burnie came onto the court wearing boxing gloves. The former UFC dual champion, who is preparing for a fight against Michael Chandler, showed that he still has plenty of power in his hands.

MMA Fighting reported that McGregor first sprayed Burnie with some TIDL before knocking him out with a left hand. McGregor then landed another big shot on a downed Burnie.

Burnie had to be dragged off the court while a smug McGregor continued to spray TIDL on him. The Notorious’ actions didn’t sit well with the Heat fans, who booed the fighter as he walked off the court.

McGregor to fight Chandler

Conor McGregor will finally return to action in the Octagon.

The Notorious will take on fellow The Ultimate Fighter coach, Michael Chandler, and a date for that bout has now been set, Sports Brief previously reported.

Mystic Mac will face Chandler at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The duo will fight at UFC 296, which is scheduled to take place nine days before Christmas.
