Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo jokingly sent an offer to football stars Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, and Karim Benzema.
The NBA star said if they are looking for a goalkeeper next season, they should look for him.
The two-time MVP was referring to the salary amounts making rounds on the internet of Benzema whose time with Real Madrid came to an end this season. According to multiple reports, the veteran French striker could be the latest football star to land an outlandish deal in oil-rich Saudi Arabia.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Benzema will land a three-year contract with Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad worth a staggering $643 million.
Ronaldo, who joined the Saudi football club on a deal until 2025 after leaving Manchester United last year, reportedly makes around $213 million (£173m) a year, per Sporting News.
Lionel Messi also left French giants PSG and has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia.
Antetokounmpo makes hilarious offer
The Greek Freak was scrolling his “For you” Twitter feed when he saw some of the numbers flying around. He Tweeted saying if any of the three stars want a goalkeeper, they should look for him. With his 6-foot-11 frame, the NBA star would probably make a great goalkeeper.
"I was just sitting on my couch scrolling through For you page. Messi, Ronaldo and Benzema. If you’re looking for a goalie for next season, let me know."
The money in Saudi Arabia dwarfs the salary the Greek Freak gets as one of the stars of the NBA.
