FootballScottie Pippen Reveals His Top 5 NBA Players of All Time
- Scottie Pippen has named his top 5 best NBA players of all time
- He had Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and Karl Malone on his list
- Pippen has directed savage jibes at his former Chicago Bulls teammate in recent years
Chicago Bulls icon Scottie Pippen has revealed his top 5 greatest NBA players of all time.
Top 5 lists have always caused heated arguments among NBA fans since one can make a case for many players in the league.
His teammate Michael Jordan and 20-year NBA veteran LeBron James are usually included in most lists. They are undoubtedly the top two players in NBA history, and you can make a case for anyone to be No.1.
Jordan dominated the 1990s alongside Pippen, while James has been the best player in the league for most of his career. The late Kobe Bryant left a mark in the league, while Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Magic Johnson were on top of the world in the 1980s.
Therefore, there's no conclusive Mt. Rushmore of all-time NBA players. Most lists are also subjective, and it would take a while to prove some fans wrong. The Athletic ranked Jordan No.1 in their top 75 NBA players of all time, while James was second.
Pippen names his Mt. Rushmore
On his appearance on the Stacey King's Gimme The Hot Sauce podcast, Pippen was asked to name his Mt. Rushmore, excluding himself.
"I like Kareem. I think Kareem is one of the most remarkable and unstoppable players. I like Magic's game. I think Magic was awesome. I would put Michael up there. And I'd probably put Karl Malone. But ayy, I got some buckets there... I'd take myself out, I'd put LeBron up there. So it would be LeBron, Magic, Michael, Kareem, and Karl Malone," via Fadeaway World.

Those five players have 21 NBA titles between them. Karl Malone never won a championship, but he is third in the NBA's all-time scoring list.
