The 28-year-old recorded his eighth triple-double (30 points, 14 rebounds, 13 assists) in Game 4 as the Nuggets won Game 4 in a 113-111 win. Jokic dedicates MVP to teammates
When asked about what winning the MVP trophy means, he was humble.
“For me to be honest, nothing,” Jokic said. “This trophy is supposed to go to my teammates and coaches. They put me in this situation…I’m just first among the equals and I’m just happy that we're collectively getting wins and getting to make something,” he said, via NBA.
Jamal Murray, who had 37 points in Game 2 and Game 3, scored 25 points in Game 4; Aaron Gordon had 22 points, six rebounds, and five assists; Michael Porter Jr. contributed 15 points and 10 rebounds; and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had 13 points.
