Golden State Warriors veteran forward Draymond Green has rubbished claims that their dynasty is over after their exit from the NBA playoffs.
The Warriors were eliminated by the Los Angeles Lakers in six games, which effectively ended their title defense.
The Warriors, led by their core of Green, Stephen Curry, and Klay Thompson, have won four NBA titles in eight years, with the latest coming last season.
Since their dynastic run began in 2015, they have gone to six NBA finals. They lost in 2016 to the LeBron James-led Cleveland Cavaliers and 2019 to the Toronto Raptors.

After winning the 2018 title, Kevin Durant left the Warriors for the Brooklyn Nets. Their star players suffered long-term injuries in the next two seasons - including Thompson, who missed two straight seasons with injuries, per USA Today.
However, they retooled and went on to win the 2022 NBA title.
Green on Warriors dynasty
The outspoken Warriors forward had an elaborate explanation of why his team shouldn't be written off just yet on the latest episode of his podcast, the Draymond Green Show.
“A lot of people saying the Warriors dynasty are over. Which are the same people that said it was over in 2019 when KD left. Four years later they’re still saying its over. Great, they’re always wrong. It’s not,” said Green. “...Pay attention to who the people are saying the dynasty is over. It’s always the people who never really been part of a dynasty,” via SI.

Sports Brief earlier reported on some members of the Warriors franchise saying their team was not ready to compete for a title this season.
Head coach Steve Kerr claimed the team had an uphill battle and their team "ultimately maxed out."
Green and Curry echoed JKerr's comments, adding that they were not a championship team.
