Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic is having a great postseason.
Despite losing Game 3 114-121 to the Phoenix Suns, Jokic finished with another triple-double and matched Wilt Chamberlain's record in the process.
The Nuggets were looking to take a commanding 3-0 lead in the series, but sensational performances from Suns stars Devin Booker and Kevin Durant saw them lose their second playoff game this season. Durant and Booker combined for 86 points.
The Serbian star had 30 points, 17 rebounds, and 17 assists, the only player in NBA playoff history to record 25-plus points and 15-plus rebounds and assists. Jokic had a triple midway through the third quarter, per Denver Post.

Jokic matches Chamberlain
The Serbian now has nine triple-doubles among centers in the playoffs, matching Wilt Chamberlain.
Boston Celtics icon, the late Bill Russell, has three triple-doubles while no one else has more than one. Interestingly, the two-time MVP needed just 55 playoff games to register nine triple-doubles. Chamberlain needed 160, while Russell had 165, per Sportskeeda.
The 28-year-old led the NBA in triple-doubles over the last two seasons. He had 19 in 2020-21 and 29 this season.
Furthermore, he is 6th in the all-time triple-doubles list in NBA playoffs history.
Suns beat Nuggets in Game 3
Sports Brief earlier reported on the Suns beating the Nuggets in Game 3 to half the semifinal matchup 2-1.
Booker was back to his best in Game 3, finishing with 47 points, nine assists, and six rebounds. He also contributed on the defensive end, recording three steals and one block in 42 minutes of action.
Durant was also exceptional for the Suns, scoring 39 points, grabbing nine rebounds, and dishing out eight assists in the Game 3 win.
