Philadelphia 76ers star, Joel Embiid has been gifted a new Rolex watch by teammate James Harden following his Most Valuable Player award.
The Cameroonian was named MVP after an outstanding season with the Sixers, who are currently in the semi-finals of the Eastern Conference after brushing aside the Brooklyn Nets in the first round.
Ahead of Game 3 against the Boston Celtics, Embiid is seen receiving the watch from Harden in a heartwarming moment between the teammates.
In a video shared on social media, which has since gone viral, an excited and shocked Embiid thanked the ex-Nets and MVP for his brotherly gesture.

“He’s second to none. He’s one of one. And he continues to get better. We’re all finally witnessing Joel Embiid - who I think everybody thought he could potentially be, some years ago," said Harden, as quoted by NBA.com.
“Welcome to the club, well-deserved. I’m so proud, [he] had a hell of a year. Should’ve gotten it last year too.”
Embiid, however, missed Game 1 against Celtics. A game Harden dominated as the 76ers defeated Celtics.
But returned in Game 2 as Philadelphia lost their first game of the series.
Game 3 is tonight at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
