However, there was one fan who was an unsung hero of that game. After the Warriors won Game 2 against the Lakers in the second round, Curry gifted the fan his game-worn shoes to thank him for his unwavering support.
Seated in the hostile Golden 1 Center, the fan wearing the Warriors jersey cheered his team despite being in the middle of rival fans.
Christian Gamboa, an ardent Warriors fan, went viral last weekend for his passionate celebrations as Curry was torching the Kings. He was fearless in enemy territory and displayed his 2017 NBA Finals "Strength in Numbers" Towel.

His support didn't go to waste as the Warriors sealed a Round 2 spot with a dominant 120-100 win, with Curry dropping an NBA record 50 points.
Curry gifts viral fan
The Warriors evened their Round 2 series with the Lakers 1-1. Gamboa was in attendance, and Curry wanted to appreciate the fan with a gift, a pair of game-worn shoes.
Gamboa was overjoyed after Curry gifted him.
"I'm speechless, man," Gamboa said "But thanks to all my family, man, they're doing all my little craziness. I'm kind of tired, lost my voice and still kind of recuperating. But it's been good, man. It's a hell of [an] experience. This is like once in a lifetime. It's nuts. I appreciate you guys and giving me the opportunity to go on there," via NBC Sports.
