LeBron James and Stephen Curry are meeting in the playoffs again.
Their teams, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors, will meet in Round 2 of the NBA playoffs after an eventful first round. James had some lovely words for Curry ahead of their clash on Tuesday, April 2.
James and Curry have met plenty of times in the NBA playoffs in the last few years. The last time they met was at the 2018 NBA Finals in a series-clinching Game 4 against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Curry had 37 points, six rebounds, four assists, three steals, and three blocks.
Curry and the Warriors have a 3-1 series record against James. All four matchups came in the NBA finals. Overall, Curry has a 15-7 record against the NBA all-time leading scorer, per NBC Sports.

Curry has averaged 25.4 points, 6.3 assists, and 5.9 rebounds in those matchups, while James had 33.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 9.3 assists.

Curry reminded everyone why he is still a top player last Sunday in Game 7 against the Sacramento Kings. He scored 50 points to seal a second-round spot for the Warriors.
James commended Curry on all his accomplishments.

"I have nothing but the utmost respect for Steph and everything he's been able to accomplish, not only on the floor but off the floor also.
