Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant has inked a lifetime deal with Nike.

The veteran star first signed a deal with the shoemaker in 2007 when he entered the NBA before renewing the deal in 2014.

Since he joined the league, Durant went on to cement his legacy as one of the best players in the history of the NBA.

He has scooped plenty of individual awards, including the 2014 MVP and the 2017 and 2018 NBA Finals MVP. He's also a two-time NBA champion with the Golden State Warriors.

Durant now joins LeBron James and Michael Jordan as the only other basketball athletes with lifetime deals.

Durant on signing lifetime deal

According to an exclusive by Boardroom, Durant's lifetime deal with Nike is done.

The Suns' star has released 15 signature sneakers with the brand, with the 16th on the way. The deal will include footwear, apparel, and a community and philanthropic collaboration on grassroots basketball.

“When I first signed with Nike, I couldn’t have dreamed of how far we’d go in this partnership. We’ve done amazing work creatively and philanthropically. We’ve traveled the world together and built a business that will now last forever. I’m excited for the future and honored to be in rare company with this deal.”

Durant reportedly signed a $60 million deal when he first joined the NBA. Following his MVP season, he inked a deal reportedly worth $300 million, per Sportskeeda.

Curry signs long-term deal with Under Armour

Sports Brief earlier reported on Warriors superstar Stephen Curry signing a long-term deal with Under Armour.

The 35-year-old will receive $75 million worth of Under Armour shares in his new contract extension with the brand.

The brand gave the four-time NBA champion shares of the company valued at $75 million as part of the compensation package after becoming the president of Under Armour’s Curry Brand and ambassador of the company.

The veteran point guard received 8,823,530 restricted stock units from the company's common stock on April 3rd. They revealed it is valued at $75 million, a figure the company disclosed in a public SEC filing.
