Curry on his timeout error

The Kings had a chance to win the game before the buzzer sounded. Former Warriors forward, Harrison Barnes attempted a long three but missed and the Golden State fans went from holding their breath to sighs of relief.

Curry explained he didn't know they had no timeouts left.

"I didn't realize when we lost the challenge that we didn't have any timeouts left... [Coach] took the blame for it, but I ain't going to lie: I thought it was the smartest play in the world. I looked at the bench, and everybody was shaking their head. It was an unfortunate situation," Curry said via ESPN.

The veteran point guard was relieved they got a vital win.

"Thankfully, we came away with the win, but good learning lesson on how important all those details are," he added.

Curry finished Game 4 with 32 points on 11-of-22 shooting, including five three-pointers.

The Warriors visit Golden 1 Center on Wednesday as they look to go 3-2 up. They have struggled on the road all season and will need to step up in Game 5.

Thompson's tribute to Curry

Sports Brief earlier reported on Klay Thompson sending a heartfelt message to Warriors teammate, Curry after a narrow Game 4 win.

"He's a simple person but he's a competitor. Just to still be out here playing in playoff games with him. These times, I'll cherish for the rest of my life," he stated.

Thompson and Curry - known as the Splash Brothers - have played alongside each other for 12 seasons and have won four NBA titles.
