Athleticism and his presence on both ends of the court has seen Steve Kerr put more faith in him during the most important moments in the game.

In 67 games in the just-concluded 2022/23 NBA season, the 6-foot-7 wing averaged 9.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 20.8 minutes per game.

Kumings's powerful dunk

The young wing flexed his incredible athletic ability by producing one of the dunks of the season against the Trail Blazers. He finished with 15 points, including 7 rebounds and 6 assists, in 24 minutes.

In the last seconds of the third quarter, Kuminga blew past Blazers forward, John Butler Jr. and dribbled toward the rim. He took flight and threw down a powerful dunk on Blazers guard, Skylar Mays, per NBC Sports.

The crowd - and the Golden State bench - went suitably crazy.

Warriors players, Curry included, could not believe what they just saw. Many were speechless with hands on their heads, summing up what an impressive effort it was.

Kuminga on Leonard

Sports Brief earlier reported on Kuminga revealing an interesting interaction he had with Kahwi Leonard.

The Golden State Warriors youngster said the veteran gave him some advice when their two teams met.

Kuminga added that Leonard doesn't really talk, with some analysts likening the two stars to each other.
