The Los Angeles Lakers impressive run continued after beating the Houston Rockets 134-109 for their 10th win in their last 14 games.
Lakers superstar LeBron James is pleased with what the team is building and revealed they are putting themselves in a position to win the title.
Anthony Davis produced another incredible performance, putting up 40 points on 15-for-20 shooting from the field. The big man is averaging 38.7 points in the Lakers' last three games on their five-game road trip.
James finished with 18 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds. The stat line was his 107th career triple-double, per NBC Los Angeles.

Rui Hachimura added 20 points and 12 rebounds from the bench while Austin Reaves scored 18 points to go along with 8 assists.
James talks Lakers title hopes
The 17-time NBA champions have struggled since winning the 2020 championship. Injuries to Davis and questionable front-office decisions have seen Darvin Ham's side fail to make a deep playoff run.
However, 20-year-veteran James feels his team is working towards winning the title.
"We just want to put ourselves in position to be able to compete for a championship," James said. "It's a journey, and obviously, we don't have as much chemistry as a lot of other teams trying to compete for a championship or that have aspirations to win a championship, but I like what we've been building over the last month or so," via ESPN.

NBAThe Lakers moved up to 7th in the Western Conference with a 40-38 record which is just half a game behind LA Clippers.
The 38-year-old said the remaining games are hugely important as the season comes to a close this week.
"These last four games are very important for our team," James said. "Not only in wins and losses but in the chemistry side of it, as well."
Ham's team concludes their road trip against the Utah Jazz on Tuesday before playing the LA Clippers on Wednesday.
They close out the season with games against the Jazz and the Phoenix Suns.
