The Dillon Brooks and Draymond Green feud was the main talking point in the NBA over the last week.
The Memphis Grizzlies guard and the Golden State Warriors veteran forward traded barbs before the two teams met. The Grizzlies blew the Warriors out but Klay Thompson defended his teammate from Brooks and other critics.
Thompson, Green, and Stephen Curry have been the cornerstone of the Warriors' golden era. They have dominated the NBA since 2015, winning eight titles in eight years.
The Warriors and the Grizzlies matchup has become one of the NBA's most entertaining rivalries. The Warriors eliminated the Grizzlies from the playoffs last season, per ESPN.

Brooks and the Grizzlies ended the Warriors' season in 2021, beating them in the play-in tournament.
Thompson defends Green
Green was the major talking point in the offseason after he punched teammate Jordan Poole during practice.
Although the issue may have been resolved, Green has sometimes expressed his frustrations with the young guard. The team has struggled for consistency this season, and the writing is on the wall for their golden era.
Thompson has subtly rubbished Brooks and Green's critics from the media.
“Draymond’s an amazing basketball player,” Thompson said. “He might score 30 a night but he’s a winner. He has been on every level. No matter what these jokers on television say, or players around the league, the hardware and resume speaks for itself. NBABrooks disses Green and Warriors
Sports Brief previously reported on Brooks aiming a savage dig at Green and the Warriors, with the 27-year-old not holding back.
He said he doesn't like the Warriors or their star, adding Green would struggle on another team - despite leading the series 2-1.
The Grizzlies are third in the West with a 39-26 record, while the defending NBA champions are 6th after losing three in a row.
