- The Memphis Grizzlies star is looking forward to facing Irving in their game on Saturday night
- Doncic will miss the clash due to a thigh strain
Memphis Grizzlies guard Dillon Brooks has sent a warning to Dallas Mavericks superstars Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic ahead of their showdown.
Doncic is out of the game with a thigh strain, while Irving is questionable after missing Friday's practice for personal reasons.
Brooks hit the headlines earlier this week after launching a scathing attack on Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors. He told ESPN he doesn't like Green and the Warriors, adding another layer to their heated and growing rivalry.
The two sides met a few days ago, and Brooks clashed with Green again, but he had the last laugh as his team blew out the defending NBA champions.

Brooks warns Doncic and Irving
Their Saturday night matchup may come too soon for Doncic, but Irving may be available to face Brooks. He had a few words to say about Doncic, according to ESPN's Tim MacMahon.
“I hope Luka gets back for the next game so I can guard him. I didn’t get a chance to guard him the first game and he had a great game [Oct. 22 when Brooks was hurt]. So I wanna see where I’m at.”
He didn't spare Irving.
“Now I can get him by myself today, so I want to see what he’s all about. He had a couple of words for me in Brooklyn, so I can’t wait to pick him up full every time and see him get exhausted.
