Now with the Chicago Bulls, the veteran guard tried to get under Leonard's skin, but the Clippers star just smiled and walked away, per Fadeaway World.
His subdued demeanor has made Leonard one of the most intriguing characters in the NBA.
George on players trash-talking Leonard
On a recent episode of The Old Man and the Three podcast, George weighed in on opponents trash-talking Leonard. He spoke at length about what Loenard is like comparing his routine to the likes of Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant.
"You watch him match up against other people, it's just the ultimate respect when it comes to Kawhi. They know what he's about. They know that it's gonna be a rough night. The guys that talk the most trash don't say (expletive) to Kawhi. They know what it is. Whereas over here, they're like, 'I can talk to Paul, he'll talk back.' But what Kawhi, it's respect over here," via SI.

Sports Brief earlier reported on Kuminga revealing an interesting interaction with Leonard.
The Golden State Warriors youngster said the veteran gave him some advice when their two teams met. He added that Leonard doesn't really talk. Some analysts have likened Loenard to the young Congolese.
"He don't really talk. The first time I ever heard him talk was yesterday. I dapped him and he was like, 'Keep working, boy and stay healthy.' And that was my second time playing against him."
