In an interview with ESPN, Brooks had a few words to say about Green's game and his team. Taylor Jenkins's side are facing one of the most turbulent moments in their season.
Their star player, Ja Morant has been away from the team this week after he was seen holding a gun in an Instagram Live video. The team recently announced he would be out for the next few games.
Brooks has stolen the headlines several times this season for the wrong reasons.
Green fires back at Brooks
The four-time NBA champion clapped back at Brooks on his podcast, The Draymond Green Show, and pulled no punches.
"He said, 'I just don't like Golden State.' I, quite frankly, wouldn't like a team that beats me all the time either. That's No. 2: 'I don't want anything to do with them.' Quite frankly, you were a little kid in high school watching us win championships. You should be happy that you even witnessed that... You're a fan. That's crazy."
Green proceeded to call Brooks out for apparently not knowing the sport well.
Desmond Bane's message to Ja Morant after the gun video
NBA"If you ever wondered why the Memphis Grizzlies is not ready to compete for a championship, look no further than this idiot right here."
"They actually are depending on this guy to help them win a championship, and he says 'his game is cool'... That's where it gets really interesting," he added via CBS Sports.
The Warriors and the Grizzlies meet again this week and it is clear we haven't seen the last of the Green and Brooks feud.
Memphis are second in the Western Conference with a 38-26 record, while the Golden Staters are 6th with a 34-32 record.
Mitchell: Brooks plays dirty
Sports Brief earlier reported on Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star guard, Donovan Mitchell accusing Brooks of dirty play.
When the two sides met early last month, Brooks appeared to kick Mitchell in the groin, sparking a huge brawl.
The fracas resulted in both players getting ejected from the game and Brooks was later suspended for his actions.
