Stephen Curry is set to make a long-awaited return to NBA action against the Los Angeles Lakers following an injury layoff.
The Golden State Warriors superstar has missed the last 11 games after sustaining a left lower leg injury against the Dallas Mavericks earlier this month.
The Warriors star has struggled with injuries this season. He missed 11 games between December and January due to a right shoulder subluxation.
The defending champions have gone 14-12 without Curry this season and he returns as his team is just catching fire.

They have won their last five games without their talisman and Andrew Wiggins. The 34-year-old participated in scrimmages this past week, per ESPN.
Thompson on Curry's return
Thompson, one-half of the Splash Brothers, said the team needs to keep going even with their best player returning, per SI.
"Just because Steph is coming back, we can't slouch our shoulders and expect him to save us," Thompson said. "We gotta keep playing with the same mindset and the same effort."
The Warriors currently sit fifth in the Western Conference with a 34-30 record. With Curry's return, they'll look to solidify their spot as the season enters the home stretch.
After a long absence, veteran forward, Andre Iguodala is also set to return to action. He hasn't played since January 13 because of right hip soreness.

Sports Brief earlier reported on Thompson scoring 42 points, including 12 three-pointers, as the Warriors won 116-101 over the Houston Rockets.
