The Brooklyn Nets ended their four-game losing streak spectacularly. They mounted an improbable comeback to stun the Boston Celtics 115-105 at TD Garden.
Mikal Bridges scored 38 points to help the Nets improve to 35-28. The result leaves them 6th in the Eastern Conference, the last automatic playoff spot.
Jacque Vaughn's side found themselves 28 points down halfway through the second quarter and were staring at a fifth straight defeat. They scored 15 points in the first quarter but produced an excellent 40-point second quarter.
They erased the deficit early in the third quarter and never looked back. The win also saw the Nets end a 10-game losing streak against the Celtics.

The Nets are now 2½ games ahead of the Miami Heat, while the Celtics are two defeats behind East leaders Milwaukee Bucks.
Bridges went 13-for-22 shooting, including 4-for-6 from 3-point range, ten rebounds, four assists, and a steal.
Reactions to Nets win
Bridges' two highest-scoring games of his career has come in his first eight games with the Nets. He scored 45 points in a win over the Heat last month, per ESPN.
"Just trying to be aggressive, man," Bridges said. "The whole thing is just to go out there and win, and I feel like if I get to some of my spots ... I feel like I can make."
Celtics star Jayson Tatum had an underwhelming game. He finished with 22 points, 13 rebounds, and five assists. He went 0-for-8 from distance.

The 28-point comeback was also the largest comeback in Nets franchise history.
Bridges makes history
Sports Brief earlier reported on Bridges making history by becoming the second player in the history of the Nets franchise to record at least 45 points, five rebounds and five assists with multiple steals against Miami last month.
He joins Durant as the only other Nets player to achieve that incredible line.
The only other players in NBA history to post a line of least 45/8/5/2/2 while shooting at least 70% from the floor are Amar'e Stoudemire and MVP winners LeBron James, Nikola Jokic, James Harden and Bob McAdoo.
