As the regular season enters the home stretch, Curry's return would be a welcome sight. This is the second time the four-time NBA champion is missing time due to injury.

The reigning NBA champions went 5-4 without him in February and are looking to improve that when they host the LA Clippers and the New Orleans Pelicans.

Curry making injury progress

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, there is optimism the 34-year-old will return during the team's upcoming road trip. Curry missed almost a month due to a shoulder injury in December and January.

He recently scrimmaged with the G League team, clearing a huge step in his rehabilitation, according to NBC Sports.

The Warriors' road trip begins on Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers. They then play the Oklahoma City Thunder and rivals, the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Warriors have struggled for consistency all season. However, their three straight wins and other teams' losses saw them jump to the 5th seed in the Western Conference with a 32-30 record.

Nevertheless, the West is chaotic, meaning a two or three-game skid could see them drop. The 2022 NBA Finals MVP is averaging 29.4 points per game.

Sundance: Stephen, Ayesha Curry dazzle

Sports Brief also reported on the Warriors' star and his wife, Ayesha looking fashionable on the red carpet recently.

The couple attended the official screening of Curry's documentary, Stephen Curry: Underrated, at the Sundance Film Festival.

Ayesha opted for a brown jumpsuit, a leather jacket and leather boots, while Stephen wore a white sweater with a dark blue gilet.
