The Sacramento Kings and the LA Clippers produced one of the best NBA games in recent times with a double-overtime thriller.
The Kings edged the Clippers 176-175 in NBA's second-highest-scoring game in NBA history.
Malik Monk and DeAaron Fox combined for 87 points as they outlasted the title contenders in their own house. Monk scored 45, while Fox, had the go-ahead basket to finish with 42.
The game was only the second time in NBA's 76-year history that two teams have scored 170 points in a game. The Detroit Pistons outlasted the Denver Nuggets 186-184 on December 13th, 1983. It remains the highest-scoring game in the league's history, per ESPN.

Kings late comeback
Both teams combined for 44 three-pointers.
Ty Lue's had a 175-169 advantage with 1:57 left on the clock. However, Mike Brown's team produced a stunning late comeback, scoring the final seven points, including Fox's jumper with 36.5 seconds remaining.
The Clippers had the chance to steal it late, but Nicolas Batum missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer.
Brown loved the game for the fans.
"From a fan's standpoint, I can see how this game would have been a lot of fun to watch. There was unbelievable shot making and great defense. There was high-level talent that was on display. Kudos to the players."
Kawhi Leonard scored a season-high 44 points for the Clippers while Paul George added 34. Russell Westbrook had a decent debut, scoring 17 points, 14 assists and five rebounds in 39 minutes but fouled out with nearly two minutes left.

The win leaves the Kings third in the West while the Clippers are 5th.
What Beverley told Westbrook
Sports Brief earlier reported on what Beverley told Russell Westbrook after news broke that he would sign with the Los Angeles Clippers.
The two were teammates with the Lakers this season but were traded before the deadline. The two didn't see eye to eye for nearly a decade but seems they quashed their beef.
"I texted him as soon as I heard [the news], he texted me right back. I said, 'Man, you're gonna love it there. You're gonna love it there, man. You're gonna love it there'."
