Despite being on-court enemies for most of their NBA careers, Patrick Beverley and Russell Westbrook became teammates for the first time this season.
Both were moved in this year's trade deadline.
Beverley will sign with the Chicago Bulls and gave his now ex-teammate, Westbrook tips about playing for the Los Angeles Clippers.
Beverley has been an NBA journeyman. He's spent ten years in the NBA with the Houston Rockets, the Los Angeles Clippers, the Minnesota Timberwolves, and the Los Angeles Lakers.

He played the first half of this season with the Lakers before getting traded to the Orlando Magic ahead of the trade deadline and was soon waived.
Westbrook is set to be reunited with his former teammate, Paul George. The Clippers, led by their two stars, George and Kawhi Leonard, are looking to make a run for the NBA title this season.
Beverley's message to Westbrook
On a recent episode of his podcast, the 34-year-old guard had a few words to say about Westbrook joining the Clippers.
"I texted him as soon as I heard [the news], he texted me right back. I said, 'Man, you're gonna love it there. You're gonna love it there, man. You're gonna love it there'."
When asked what Westbrook will love about the Clippers, Beverley added:
"The detail of the organization, the detail of game planning, the detail of preparation... I think he'll appreciate that," he said via SI.

NBAThere were mixed reactions to the news that Westbrook was going to join the Clippers. Fans on social media raised concerns over the fit and role of the man who won the MVP award in 2017 and averaged a triple-double four times in five seasons.
The two players have a complicated history, sharing several back-and-forths for nearly a decade. Beverley set the feud in motion when he crashed into Westbrook's knee and caused a torn meniscus during the 2013 playoffs, per Bleacher Report.
George recruits Westbrook
Sports Brief also reported on George openly recruiting Westbrook to join him at the Clippers. The two played together during the 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons before George requested a trade.
Lue's team traded Jackson and Wall and shooting guard, Luke Kennard to acquire Bones Hyland from Denver Nuggets, Houston Rockets veteran Eric Gordon, and center Mason Plumlee.
The Clippers have no traditional point guard in their setup, and the potential addition of Westbrook could potentially add a new dimension to the team.
