LeBron James shared a lovely moment with the Kobe Bryant family at the just concluded 2023 NBA All-Star Game in Salt Lake City, Utah.
James was ruled out of the second half with a hand injury and had to see his team get beat by Team Giannis. It was the first defeat Team LeBron had suffered since the new format was introduced in 2018.
Bryant tragically died in a helicopter crash on February 26, 2020, sending millions of sports fans worldwide into mourning. The crash also took the life of Bryant's 13-year-old daughter and seven others, per AP.
Since his untimely demise, fans and the entire sports fraternity honored the Los Angeles Lakers icon. Murals were painted in almost every corner of the globe, a testament to his everlasting impact.

James shows love to Bryant's family
During the All-Star Game at Vivint Arena in Utah, Vanessa Bryant, Bryant's widow, and her daughters were seated on courtside seats.
James came over and hugged Kobe's oldest daughter Natalia then posed for a photo with Bianka and Capri.
Vanessa also presented the 2023 Kobe & Gigi Bryant Advocacy Award to Kobe's teammate and close friend, Pau Gasol.
Kobe retired in 2016 and remains one of the greatest players in the history of the NBA. The NBA honored him by naming the All-Star MVP award after him. In his hugely successful career, he won five NBA titles (2000, 2001, 2002, 2009, 2010)
