Kyrie Irving blasts Brooklyn Nets after sealing move to Dallas Mavericks
NBA
Anthony Davis stole the headlines for the wrong reasons the night LeBron James became NBA's all-time leading scorer in Lakers 133-130 defeat against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Davis was pictured sitting on the bench enthusiastically after James sank a fadeaway to overtake Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's 39-year record in the third quarter.
Several videos went viral online showing the big man seated on the bench while all his teammates witnessed James making history.
While the rest of his teammates remained standing, frantic, waiting for James to inevitably break the record, the former Pelicans star sat on the bench with a dejected look.

According to ESPN, the Lakers star has clarified those claims, saying he was disappointed with the game's result. In that game, Davis scored 13 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the floor and shot just one free throw.
"It's about the game. I mean, we're losing to the Oklahoma City Thunder, a game we needed. And I was pissed off that we were losing. It's that simple. It's nothing that has to do with Bron. He knows that. Everybody else is outside looking in, it's their opinion. But I was pissed off that we were losing the game."
While other players were celebrating James' historic milestone, Davis looked despondent on the bench. He also explained that he was coming back from the tunnel and was unaware of James's incredible moment.
