The Chicago Bulls put up a show in front of stars as they edged the Detroit Pistons in Paris, France. They won 126-108 in an entertaining game at the Accor Arena.

The star of the show was none other than Victor Wembanyama. The French basketball phenom left everyone in the arena awestruck as he emerged minutes before tip-off. Everyone wanted to chin-wag with the 7-foot-4 star.

The arena was filled with A-list and B-list celebrities, Formula One drivers, and NBA legends like Magic Johnson, Tony Parker and Ben Wallace, who seemed to be enjoying the show.

Before game day, both teams attended clinics, and visited the Eiffel Tower, while the Pistons had a private show for the Pistons at the Paris Opera House.

Bulls and NBA icon Michael Jordan played in Paris in the 1997 preseason, helping the NBA cement its footprint in Europe.

Bulls beat Pistons in front of stars

Zach LaVine scored 30 points for the Bulls, while DeMar DeRozan added 26 points and Nikola Vucevic finished with 16 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists, in a game the Bulls never trailed, per ESPN.

Meanwhile, Bojan Bogdanovic led the Pistons with 25 points. French-American youngster Killian Hayes was underwhelming, scoring four points for the Pistons on 2-of-13 shooting. Still, he had a game-high eight assists.

Hamidou Diallo added 17 points for Detroit, while Saddiq Bey and Jaden Ivey each scored 16.

The Bulls are still 10th (21-24) in the Eastern Conference while the Pistons fell to 12-36, the second-worst mark in the NBA, improving their chances of getting Wembanyama in the 2023 NBA Draft.

Courtside seats were filled with several global stars who came to see the game. Khaby Lame was present, and Formula One drivers led by Ferrari's Charles Leclerc came to watch the game.

Several retired NBA players also graced the red carpet. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver had to take a picture with Wembanyama, per the Athletic.

Sports Brief earlier reported on global social media megastar Khaby Lame meeting with French basketball phenom Wembanyama before tip-off in Paris.

Wembanyama and Lame stole the show. The two interacted briefly before getting photographed, but the social media star could not let the 19-year-old go without joking about how tall the Frenchman was.

The two posed for a few photos, the social media star looked tiny standing next to the 7-foot-4 young star.
