Darvin Ham's side won 130-121, which was a positive end to a frustrating year. They missed the playoffs and have struggled this season, and are now 5-9 in their last 14 games.

Furthermore, they are still far from a playoff spot, sitting 13th in the Western Conference with a 15-21 record.

The 47 points were a perfect birthday present. The NBA star scored 16 points on 5-for-7 shooting in the fourth quarter, per ESPN.

After the buzzer rang, he took off his No. 6 uniform jersey, autographed it and gave it to the rapper who was sitting courtside. The two shared a lovely embrace afterward.

James is now averaging 28.5 points, 8.1 rebounds and 6.6 assists in 28 games this season, which is eighth-best in the NBA.

ESPN projects that the four-time NBA champion will pass Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in all-time scoring, being only 528 points away from the latter's record of 38,387.

James' wife left speechless

Sports Brief earlier reported on James's wife Savannah having a priceless reaction to LeBron's emphatic dunk vs the Hawks in the third quarter.

With two and a half minutes left, James received a pass from Russell Westbrook before going past two Hawks defenders for a superb dunk, to extend the Lakers' lead by four.

After the thunderous dunk, the camera panned to the crowd, where his wife Savannah and mother were sitting together courtside.
