The Golden State Warriors have recovered impressively following a poor run on the road where they went 1-5, including two successive 30-point defeats to New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets.
The defending NBA champions produced a statement 123-109 Christmas Day win over rivals Memphis Grizzlies, and their 112-107 win over the Utah Jazz was their third in a row.
Steve Kerr has named three players who've played a major role in their recent winning run.
The three wins have come without two key players in Stephen Curry and Andrew Wiggins, who have been nursing injuries for the past few weeks.

Kerr's side play at home in their next five games and have the opportunity to win eight in a row as they look to climb up the Western Conference with a goal to defend their NBA title.

According to NBC Sports, Kerr said young players have played a huge role in helping the team recover from a dreadful run which saw them win just two games from nine.
"I think our young guys are really growing, we're getting great performances every night from guys like [Jonathan Kuminga] and [Anthony Lamb] and Ty Jerome."

NBAHe also highlighted the impact of veterans like Draymond Green and Kevon Looney. He heaped praise on Jordan Poole for carrying the scoring load for the Warriors in the absence of Curry.
The Warriors face the Portland Trail Blazers in their next game. Curry is expected to be evaluated in a few days and is expected to be back in action sometime early next year, per the Athletic.

The 32-year-old said the team is fragile at the moment and improving their mental strength.
"I think we are very fragile. You start going through these things and then you start believing them. Once you start believing them, it becomes who you are. The only way to break them is by being mentally tough."
