Serge Ibaka angrily responded to Kendrick Perkins who claimed that the Milwaukee Bucks forward may have been older than he claimed while at the Oklahoma City Thunder.

While recalling his time in OKC, Perkins recounted the team’s core of young players like Kevin Durant, James Harden and Russell Westbrook.

When talking about Ibaka, he joked about Ibaka's age, saying he could've been 30 despite getting listed as a 21-year-old.

Perkins has stolen the headlines several times during his time as an analyst. He and Durant were once engaged in a heated Twitter spat. He also went back and forth with Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green, per CBS Sports.

Ibaka responds to Perkins

After the video was posted on Twitter, Ibaka fired back with a lengthy thread on the platform.

In the video Perkins, who is now an analyst with ESPN, said Ibaka was probably lying about his age, per SI.

“Everybody kept saying, ‘Oh, Kevin Durant is only 23 years of age. Russell Westbrook is only 22, James Harden is 22, Serge Ibaka is 21—although he was probably 30 at the time because we already know how certain individuals lie about their age.”

Ibaka responded, saying Perkins was spreading misinformation, while also questioning his character.

"Although I am disappointed I am not surprised to see these actions from someone who got his job by breaking the locker room code and by spreading lies about two of his former teammates and brothers like KD and Russ."

Ibaka, 33, is in his 14th NBA season and playing for the MilwaukeeBucks. Perkins later responded to Ibaka's long rant, threatening to reveal more information about their time in OKC.

Durant on Passing Tim Duncan

Sports Brief earlier reported on Durant reacting to passing Tim Duncan on NBA's all-time scoring list during Brooklyn Nets' win over Cleveland Cavaliers.

Duncan scored 26,496 points over the course of his illustrious career, but Durant's 32 saw his figure jump to 26,516. He is averaging 30 points per game this season as he looks to bring the championship to Brooklyn.

“My career to be able to pass an all-time great, legend, somebody who changed the game, it’s something that I’ll call my folks tonight and talk over and just reminisce on how we got here.”
