Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry is expected to spend more time on the sidelines after sustaining a shoulder injury during the Warriors' latest road trip.
He was diagnosed with a left shoulder subluxation that caused damage to his labrum in their game against the Indiana Pacers on December 14th.
Steve Kerr's side went 1-5 on the road trip which ended with a combined 68-point defeat to the New York Knicks and the Brooklyn Nets to compound their horrible run which they have won three of the last nine.
They are 15-18 and sit 11th in the Western Conference ahead of a mouth-watering Christmas Day encounter with the Memphis Grizzlies who are second in the West with a 20-11 record.

Curry injury update
According to the Athletic, the reigning NBA Finals MVP is making good progress and is set to be reevaluated in two weeks. The team had said the MVP candidate will not need surgery.
The team statement read:
"The re-evaluation indicated that Stephen is making good progress. He will be re-evaluated again in two weeks."
Curry is having another great season averaging 30 points, 6.6 rebounds and 6.8 assists per game. Curry's teammate Draymond Green said the team is fragile at the moment, per CBS Sports.

Sports Brief earlier reported on Curry shooting and making a no-look three-pointer against the Boston Celtics.
With the clock winding down, the 34-year-old got Celtics forward Sam Hauser on a switch and put some moves on him before connecting a step-back 3-pointer as the buzzer rang.
In true Curry fashion, he turned his back on his 30-foot attempt before it went through the net.
