According to a copy of the police report obtained by the Miami Herald, the 15-year NBA veteran allegedly resorted to violence following a quarrel at his Miami home on December 17.

According to the report, the 6-foot-10 (2.1 meters), 255-pound (115 kilogram) 40-year-old confronted his daughter and accused her of being rude to her grandmother.

When she denied it, the former Knicks star told her 'You’re talking back again' and punched her in the face, leaving her bleeding, according to the report.

The girl contacted her mother, Stoudemire's ex-wife, who came to the home, picked up the two daughters and their two brothers, and contacted the police.
